So we have to do it ourselves. Each new aircraft that joins the Compass fleet is delivered to one of our maintenance bases in Australia or New Zealand. This includes aircraft purchased new from the manufacturer, second hand aircraft or aircraft we are leasing short term.
Our delivery flight system is simplicity itself. Each month a number of aircraft will require delivery. Details of each flight will be posted here. Any Compass pilot, regardless of rank, may operate these flights, this includes other Compass divisions as well, Compass Express pilots can deliver Compass aircraft and vice versa. Bids should reach the CEO by the stated date. First in, best dressed. Be warned - the pace of the delivery program will now reduce considerably as the Compass route network is now nearly mature and the fleet as big as it is going to get. Future deliveries will mostly be cargo aircraft for Compass Logistics, our air freight operation, and Compass New Zealand
