Compass Execuflight
Compass is pleased to introduce the newest division of our operation, ExecuFlight..
Execuflight is a brand new concept in virtual aviation. Part of the Compass Group, ExecuFlight is a fully fledged corporate jet service operating from three bases in Sydney, Hong Kong and Bangkok. The fleet comprises just three types, the Boeing BBJ, the Citation X 750 and the BeechJet 400. Pilots may operate from any of the three bases, and unlike other Compass divisions we have a functional online dispatch system. Currenty the dispatch system assigns the passenger load and the sectors to be operated, we hope to expand it in the near future to allow full flight reporting, aircraft tracking and flight planning services.
ExecuFlight also represents a significant challenge for pilots. Some of the taskings generated by the dispatch system are beyond the range of some aircraft, and some aerodromes may not accomodate the larger types. This means that aircraft selection and detailed flight planning skills will need to be called on to complete each task. For this reason ExecuFlight is pitched very much at the more experienced virtual aviatior. For this reason unlike other arms of the airline we will be a tad discriminating in who actually joins this arm of the airline. After all those filthy rich VIPs deserve nothing but the very best for the fees we charge!
So if think you are up for a challenge take a look at the ExecuFlight website and apply today. |
Vale the A340
Compass has decided to retire the A340-200 and A340-300 from the fleet. The more fuel efficient B777-300ER will gradually replace the A342 and A343 over the next 18 months. The 777-300 will operate along side the B777-200ER on our medium density long haul routes, in particular our services to Japan, North America and selected European routes that do not justify the larger B747-400 or A380. Flights to return the aircraft to the lessor or to pass them on to their new owner have already started. Compass pilots may bid for these flights as they would for delivery flights via the delivery page.
The A340-500 will continue to share the ultra long haul services with the B777-200LR
This will necessitate a slight chage in our career structure as the A340-500 will be the only Airbus aircraft in the fleet between the A330 and A380 |
